The name PointsBet refers to this bookmaker’s interesting style of wagering called “PointsBetting.” Also known as spread betting, this type of gambling doesn’t feature fixed odds.

Instead, it offers variable markets that sees you win more or less depending upon how close your guess is to the final result. If you take the New York Jets at -2.5, for example, you’ll collect more money if the Jets win by 5 points.
