A freeroll is a poker competition that is free to enter but still offers real money prizes. The number of paid positions in a freeroll and how to qualify might be different every time. For most freerolls on RakeTheRake you have to qualify by raking a certain amount in the days before the freeroll event. Usually this amount is very low and just serves the purpose of ensuring that the prizes go to real money players. If you are already an active real money player at the room then you will usually be automatically qualified to participate in the freeroll.
