Tom Brady’s Top 10 Greatest Comebacks
By RTR Alex
The tale of Tom Brady is as old as time – a 199th draft pick and hugely underestimated prospect, who spent the next 20 years proving why he should have been 1st. He may only be 44 years old, but in the NFL, a 22-season career is a lifetime. Brady is the longest-playing quarterback ever, with 306 games under his belt, and what he has done in each game over the last 2 decades, has surely left every team kicking themselves for the 198 picks the made before him.
Although he may now be continuing his legacy in Tampa Bay, Brady made his name as the almost-undisputed G.O.A.T and most of all, The Comeback King during his time as the New England Patriots quarterback. Brady currently has 41 fourth-quarter comebacks, ranking second all-time in NFL history, behind Peyton Manning with 45 – the problem is, Brady’s still going and hasn’t shown any signs of stopping.
Here’s our list of the Top 10 Comebacks in Brady's Career:
10. Patriots vs Lions – Nov 25th 2010
The 2-8 Lions were in with a chance to pull back a win, in this Thanksgiving Day game against the Pats. 24-17 up in the 3rd quarter, they must have thought they had a good opportunity to hold the lead and secure a W. Little did they know, they’d go on to be outscored 28-0 in the last 25 minutes of the game – with the score finishing 45-24.

9. Patriots vs Bills – Sep 30th 2012
Up against Ryan Fitzpatrick, who took the Bills to a 21-7 lead in the 3rd quarter, Brady shows here why he’ll always be one of the best. It was looking like a sure defeat, until the Patriots outscored the Bills 45-14 in the final 2 quarters, with six consecutive touchdown-scoring drives. Brady managed a huge 35 points solely in the 4th quarter to make the final score 52-28.
8. Patriots vs Jets – Oct 15th 2017
Up 14-0, with 5 minutes left until half-time, the Jets must have thought they had this game in the bag. But you can never be too sure when you’re facing off against Tom and his good friend – Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots went on to outscore the Jets 24-3 through the rest of the game, for another astounding comeback win.
