A group of Swedish professional bettors launched RedBet in 2004. The company was purchased by William Hill in 2018, but they continue operating under the RedBet name.

We do like the wide range of markets they cover. RedBet handles numerous bets across dozens of markets on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the odds aren’t the greatest on these wagers.

You can see that RedBet has its ups and downs. Overall, they’re a decent choice with regard to markets and in-play betting. However, they don’t stack up to other established bookmakers in multiple areas.

This bookmaker offers a few helpful features in their in-play betting section. You can make a list of your favourite events and visit the “Live Right Now” section to find current matches. Unfortunately, RedBet doesn’t offer live streaming like many top bookmakers do.

Odds

RedBet doesn’t have very good odds in comparison to the industry. These odds lead to high margins that hover around 6% for most sports.

UK punters won’t appreciate that most football margins are between 6% and 6.5%. Ice hockey margins are especially terrible at around 10%.

This bookmaker has a solid live betting section. They feature a lot of in-play bets on football, basketball, cricket, rugby, and tennis. You can also look forward to live wagering opportunities on some of the smaller markets too.

RedBet does a good job of covering a wide array of markets. Like any UK-facing sportsbook, they cover dozens of football leagues across the globe. They also do a nice job of featuring bets on other sports, such as baseball, basketball, ice hockey, horse racing, motorsports, rugby, and volleyball.

Website Navigation & Layout

The website layout is a mixed bag. We don’t like how the “Popular” section is emphasized over the markets on the left-hand side. Navigation is always easiest when the markets are the first thing listed.

On the positive side, RedBet really highlights available wagers in the middle of the screen. Additionally, they’re not overly concerned with pushing promotions on you. We didn’t have too much trouble getting around the site from an overall perspective.
