PKR holding $300k Oktoberfest Series

Instead of celebrating Oktoberfest by drinking lots of beer this year, how about celebrating it by winning tons of money in online poker tournaments! PKR are holding a huge Oktoberfest series, where at least $300,000 will be paid out over 35 tourneys. PKR's Oktoberfest will span 14 days, starting on October 21st with a $1.5k Deep 'n' Steep, and ending on November 3rd with a $15k Oktoberfest Championship. Keep in mind that the events are going to be split into 'Mini,' regular and 'High' buy-in formats.

Aside from all of the big tournament action that'll be going on, players can also look forward to leaderboard races. The top four finishers on the 'High Leaderboard' have their choice between a $500 PKR Live seat or $300 in online tourney tickets.

As if all of this isn't enough, there's also going to be a '$500 Oktoberfest Mini Turbo Freeroll.' Anybody who enters at least three Oktoberfest tournaments will be eligible for the freeroll, and your chip stack is dependent upon how many total tourneys you play.

In the spirit of Oktoberfest, all virtual drinks will be reduced by 50%, so have a few yourself or send them to your PKR buddies! Now here's a look at some of the 35 tournaments that'll run from Oct. 21-Nov. 3 (all times GMT):
