"The Beast" will be split in Two at Americas Cardroom
By RTR Dennis
Americas Cardroom has made a big announcement in regard to their revolutionary progressive cash race 'The Beast.' Starting October 1st, ACR will split The Beast into two separate cash races each month. The first will begin on the 1st of the month and end on the 15th, while the second race will run from the 16th and stop when the month ends.
Thanks to this new bi-weekly format, players will have more chances than ever to earn points and prizes on the progressive leaderboard. ACR spokesman Michael Harris said:
"The Beast has been insanely rewarding, handing out over $1.8 million in cash and tournament seats since launching. Next month, we're taking things to the next level with an enhanced format designed to reward more players, more often."
In order to celebrate the new era of The Beast, ACR is offering a 100% up to $200 reload bonus. This bonus offer is available within the two days leading up to the first bi-weekly race, and within two days after the first bi-weekly race ends. Players who take advantage of this opportunity simply need to deposit during one of the designated time periods and use the 'EASY200' bonus code. If you miss out on this first reload reward, don't worry because ACR plans to offer plenty more before future bi-weekly races.
Assuming you've never tried The Beast before, this progressive cash race has completely changed the way jackpots are awarded at poker sites. Instead of only giving out a jackpot every once and a while, The Beast's jackpot now pops twice a month, rewarding lots of players in the process.
To participate in this promotion, you need to look for designated Jackpot tables in ACR's lobby. When you play at Jackpot tables where at least 4 players are dealt into a hand, a small fee is taken to fund the bi-weekly jackpots. And every time you contribute to one of these jackpots (prize pools), you'll earn points on The Beast leaderboard. To track your points, simply visit the Rewards tab under 'Points Race' to see how you rank on the leaderboard.
At the end of each race, the top players receive payouts based on how much money was collected through Jackpot tables. For example, if a $50,000 prize pool was generated, 200 players would get paid, with first place collecting $4,875. Assuming a $90,000 prize pool were created, 360 players would receive payouts, with first taking $8,775.
Now, with the new bi-weekly format, more players are going to be reaping the benefits of The Beast's progressive jackpots than ever before!
