Bovada Poker is the Teacher's Pet with an A+ Payment Processing Grade
By RTR Dennis
Thanks to legal red tape regarding online poker in the United States, some US-friendly poker rooms have had a little trouble processing withdrawals. But Bovada Poker certainly isn't one of these sites because they received an A+ on PokerAffiliateSolutions' latest payment processing report.
What stands out about Bovada's banking is the speed in which they handle withdrawals. Western Union and MoneyGram requests are handled by this site in 1-2 days, while checks arrive in just 6-10 days. The latter is great news because most people request checks since there are no fees on the first check of the month.
Two more sites that players can count on for quality banking are Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker. Both ACR and Black Chip are under the Winning Poker Network, which received an A for their payment processing efforts. Winning Poker debit card withdrawals are processed within 1-4 days, and checks are arriving within 1-2 weeks. Much like at Bovada, players can request one check for free each month before a service fee is applied.
One last online poker entity worth discussing here is the Merge Gaming Network, which is home to Carbon Poker and Aced. Merge got a B on their report after showing tremendous improvement from previous months. Checks are showing up on people's doorsteps in 2-4 weeks, thus far exceeding the 8-10 weeks players were forced to wait earlier this summer.
As you can see, there are definitely some nice options from a banking perspective if you're looking for a US-friendly poker site. And seeing as how these rooms/networks have great promotions and bonuses, it's all the more reason to sign up at one of them and start playing.
