Jet off to LSOP Chile courtesy of Americas Cardroom

From August 21st-25th, the Latin Series of Poker (LSOP) will be jetting off to Puerto Varas, Chile for another fantastic event. And you can join them in this beautiful Oceanside town by winning an LSOP Chile prize package through Americas Cardroom.
Each prize package is worth $1,500, and this covers the $1,000 + $100 LSOP Chili Main Event buy-in along with $400 for travel/hotel expenses. To win, you simply need to play in LSOP Chile satellites, which run every night. The actual prize packages are given out in the Thursday night “Seat-Only” satellites, and you can see the entire schedule below:
- Daily LSOP Chili Super Satellite – Runs every hour, $0.25 + $0.02 buy-in, one seat is guaranteed to the Nightly Satellite.
- Nightly LSOP Chili Super Satellite – Runs at 6:00pm ET every night, $16 + $1 buy-in, one ticket is guaranteed to the “Seat-Only” tournament.
- Seat-Only Satellite – Takes place at 6:30pm ET every Thursday night, $60 + $6 buy-in, one $1,500 LSOP Chili prize package is guaranteed in this tourney.
Once again, the LSOP Chile Main Event festivities run from August 21st-25th, 2013 in Puerto Varas. There’ll be a “Welcome Cocktail Party” on the first night so that players can relax, have some fun, and get to know each other. The actual tournament starts on August 22nd, when the Day 1A field begins playing.
Exchanging the Prize Package
If something comes up and you can’t use your LSOP Chili prize package, it’s okay because Americas Cardroom allows players to take a $1,100 voucher. This voucher can be used towards any other prize package on the site, like the 2013 Punta Cana Poker Classic.
Booking a Hotel
You’ve probably noticed that the $1.5k packages don’t specifically cover a hotel room. But do note that LSOP has negotiated special discounted hotel rates for players, which start at $90 per room. Thanks to the extra $400 offered through the packages, players should be able to cover all or most of the hotel expenses.
