Americas Cardroom featuring a Brand New, Must-See Website

In the spirit of its US-friendly status, Americas Cardroom has always employed a red, white and blue appearance. However, they recently scrapped this look in favor of a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing website.

One of the main reasons behind the change is that ACR wants to make players feel as if they're in a lavish, high stakes environment. Michael Harris, who is ACR’s spokesman, discussed the changes by stating:

"We wanted our online home to recreate the same high-end, VIP feel that players enjoy in person when they join us in Peru for the Latin Series of Poker or the Dominican Republic for the Punta Cana Poker Classic. Our new site accomplishes that and we hope our online poker community loves it."
Offering a high-end website look isn't the only purpose behind ACR's decision to change their website. They also wanted to make the site easier for users to navigate. This included putting all of the major categories at the top such as "How to Play," "Promotions," "Elite Benefits," "ACR Elite" and "Support." Not only are these categories easy to see, but players can simply mouse over them to reveal helpful subcategories too.

It's only fitting that ACR revamp their website at a time when they're currently running some huge promotions. The biggest upcoming event is a $200,000 Guaranteed tournament, which takes place on April 7th at 7:00pm ET. The buy-in for this tourney is $200 + $15, but players can also win a seat through satellites and freerolls.

The latter is especially interesting because ACR is running a $200k Freeroll Series from now until April 7th. $200k GTD freerolls run every day, and players can qualify for the Sunday Final, where five $200k GTD seats are given away. You can see a breakdown of the freerolls below:

Step 1: Daily Freerolls - Run at 6:00am, 8:00am, 10:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm and 10:00pm, top 25 finishers move on to Nightly Freeroll.

Step 2: Nightly Freerolls - Run at 8:30pm, top 50 finishers move on to Sunday Weekly Freeroll.

Step 3: Sunday Weekly Freeroll - Happens at 4:00pm, five $200K GTD seats are given away (each $215 value).
