Party Poker announces “The Million” with $1m Prize Pool
By RTR Dennis
At least several times a year, Party Poker will offer a massive tournament where a $1 million prize pool is up for grabs. And this tradition continues on February 3rd, 2013 when this site will hold “The Million.” As the name implies, there’ll be a $1 million prize pool on the line, and players can buy directly into this event for $600 + $40.
Obviously not everybody can afford to put $640 into a single tournament, which is why Party are running plenty of satellites and qualifiers for this event. Dozens of satellites will run every day, and you merely need to look at the Party Poker software to find one that suits you bankroll. Here is a quick sample of what you can expect to see with the satellites and qualifiers:
10 PP The Million Special Qualifier Turbo, 10 PartyPoints buy-in
The Million MEGA Friday Satellite Qualifier Speed, $5 + $1 buy-in
The Million MEGA Friday Satellite Qualifier Speed Rebuy, $1.6 + $0.40
The Million Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy, $1.6 + $0.40
The Million Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy, $0.9 + $0.10
The Million Sub Qualifier Extra Speed, $43 + $4
10 PP The Million Special Qualifier Turbo, 10 PartyPoints
The Million Sub Qualifier Speed, $7 + $1
The Million Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy, $0.9 + $0.10
The Million Qualifier (1 Seat Gtd.), $64 + $6
Once again, this is just a small example of some of the daily satellites running for The Million. But it’s pretty clear from looking at all of this that just about anybody has a chance at winning a $640 seat. Assuming you’re one of these people, make sure to sign up for Party Poker rakeback through RakeTheRake. By doing this, you’ll get a 100% up to $500 signup bonus along with up to 50% rakeback.
Now the rakeback is dependant on how much you play. But as an example of how effective it is, let’s say that you enter The Million Qualifier ($64 + $6) with a 50% rakeback deal; this would cut the $6 rake in half and send $3 back to you. Over time, this kind of savings can really add up, which is why rakeback deals are so important!
