Party Poker offering Major Cash in Summer Superstars

Rather than hopping in the pool, visiting amusement parks, or enjoying any of the other pleasures that summer has to offer, the Party Poker team members are hard at work; and the result of their hard work is yet another big poker promotion. 'Summer Superstars' will offer giant freerolls and plenty of leaderboard cash, so if you're looking to earn some serious poker cash this summer then this promo is well worth a look.

Summer Superstars Basics
Every day until August 19th, 2012, Party Poker will be running $5,000 worth of freerolls. There are three different freeroll levels available based on how many points players earn in a day (discussed later). Besides the freeroll cash that’ll be available, there are also three different Summer Superstars leaderboards running. The top cash prize is worth $5,000 while three WPT prize packages will be given out too.

Summer Superstars Freerolls

• Daily Bronze $1,000 Freeroll at 14:00 ET – One point required to enter. Anybody who finishes within a paid position earns points for the Bronze Leaderboard.


• Daily Silver $1,500 Freeroll at 15:00 ET – Collect 10 points to enter. Players who finish within a paid spot earn points for the Silver Leaderboard.


• Daily Gold $2,500 Freeroll at 16:00 ET – 25 points requited to enter. Players who cash in this freeroll receive points towards the Gold Leaderboard.

Leaderboard Prizes

• $5,000 Bronze Leaderboard – The top 250 players will receive prizes on this board (as with all three leaderboards). Cash prizes start at $5 and go up to $500, which is paid out to the second place finisher. The Bronze Leaderboard winner will be the beneficiary of a $2,250 WPT National Series seat.


• $10,000 Silver Leaderboard – Cash prizes begin at $5 and the second place finisher collects $2,000. The winner of this leaderboard race will get a $5,500 WPT Main Event seat.


• $25,000 Gold Leaderboard – The lowest finishers on this board receive a $15 payout and cash prizes go all the way up to $5,000. The lucky Gold Leaderboard winner will collect a$13,000 WPT prize package.
