Third Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) Offering $15m
By RTR Dennis
PokerStars have just announced the third Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP), and it's definitely a BIG event! From January 23rd to February 2nd, TCOOP will pay out $15 million guaranteed across 50 different tournaments.
TCOOP starts off with a bang on January 23rd with a $750k NL Hold'em (6-max) tournament. The buy-in is $27, which is very reasonable for a tourney of this size. And this isn't the only event with a low buy-in and huge prize pool available.
Of course, some of the high buy-in tourneys are definitely worth playing too. The $2 million NL Hold'em Main Event on February 2nd is a great example of this. However, the buy-in is $700, which is steep for many players. But this is what satellites are for because you can win seats for as little as $0.22 or 5 Frequent Player Points (FPPs). Just look in the PokerStars lobby and choose the 'Events' > 'TCOOP' > 'All' tabs to find both TCOOP satellites and tournaments. Now here's a look at some of the bigger tourneys as well as leaderboard information.
