Poker Heaven holding €68k Spring Poker Series in May

Thanks to Poker Heaven, warmer weather and blooming flowers aren't the only reasons to love spring. That's because Poker Heaven are running a €68,000 (US$89k) Spring Poker Series from May 6th-19th, 2013.

There'll be 14 tournaments in the Spring Poker Series and buy-ins go as low as €0.10 + €0.02, ensuring that anybody can play in this event. The highlight of the SPS will no doubt be the €25,000 Main Event, which takes place on May 19th.

Aside from €68k worth of tourneys, there is going to be a €10,000 leaderboard and €6,000 freeroll running during the SPS. Let's discuss all of this in detail and cover the schedule for this event below.

€10,000 Leaderboard
The more Spring Poker Series tournaments you play in, the better because you’ll earn more points towards the leaderboard. Points are calculated based on a special formula that accounts for your finish position and how many players are involved.

As for the prizes, the top three finishers will be collecting €1,500 Side Event packages to the Cameonato España de Poker (CEP) - Spain's most prestigious live tournament series. Each package includes a €600 + €60 buy-in to any CEP side event along with €840 for travel and hotel expenses.

€6,000 Guaranteed Freeroll
Everybody who participates in the Spring Poker Series will be invited to a €6k freeroll on May 25th at 18:00 GMT. The freeroll winner is going to collect a €1.5k CEP package while another €4,500 in cash will be paid to the top 20 players.
