Everest Poker featuring Unique Triple-Threat Leaderboard Races
By RTR Dennis
Tired of the same old rake races where only high stakes players have a chance at winning? If so, Everest Poker has definitely got a good promotion for you since they're running unique Triple-Threat leaderboard races.
Triple-Threat is divided into three leaderboards, based on three different types of players – The Grinder, the Poker Pro, and the Marathon Man. Collectively, these three boards combine to offer $8,225 in prize money and there'll be three different Triple-Threat race periods, as you can see below:
- Monday, April 29th - Sunday, May 12th, 2013 - $8,225 prize pool
- Monday, May 20th - Sunday, June 2nd - $8,225 prize pool
- Monday, June 10th - Sunday, June 23rd -$8,225 prize pool
As mentioned before, each Triple-Threat promotional period is divided up into three races. And here is a closer look at what each race entails.
The Grinder
This board runs like a typical rake race where the top rakers earn the most money during a given period. The top 75 grinders share in a huge $6,700 prize pool, and below are the top five payouts:

Poker Pro
Players can earn big money through the Poker Pro leaderboard by winning as many hands as possible. As long as each hand reaches the flop and occurs at stakes ranging from $0.04 and above, they count towards the board. The Poker Pro race offers $800 to the top 30 players, and here are the biggest prizes:
1st - $75
2nd - $60
3rd - $50
4th - $40
5th - $35
Marathon Man
Those who can play the most hands possible will win big through the Marathon Man leaderboard. Every hand you play at $0.04 stakes and above will count towards the board. The top 30 players share in a $665 prize pool, and you can see the biggest payouts below:
1st - $550
2nd - $400
3rd - $350
