EPT London Returns!
By RTR Jamie
After an 8 year hiatus, the European Poker Tour (EPT) returns to London once again with PokerStars.
This is exciting news after the World Series of Poker has come to an end.
EPT will be hitting the casino for 11 days this October from the 18th to the 28th at the Hilton Park Lane Casino in London.
This EPT is extra special as Two $30,000 Platinum Passes are up for grabs during the event, but we will get into that later.
EPT London is giving you the chance to win entrance and packages to the Main Event from just £1.10 running from August 14th to October 20th.
The Recent EPT Monte Carlo Casino took place from April 28 to May 7, with poker player Marcelo Simoes Mesqueue winning the first EPT Main Event for Brazil. He pocketed a huge €939,840, which was almost $400,000 more than runner up Morten Hvam of Denmark with €564,640.
EPT London has always been an exciting event and has been one of the homes for EPT since 2004. It has seen the likes of Main Event Winners such as John Shipley (2004), Victoria Coren Mitchell (2006), Micheal Martin (2008 and a £1 Million win), Benny Spindler (2011) and Sebastian Pauli the last EPT London Main Live Event Winner.
$30,000 Platinum Passes
If you are wondering how to get your hands on one of the two Platinum passes, you just need to attend the event and play in the £3,0000 Platinum Pass Mystery Bounty, which will be running between October 24th-26th, the pass will be included in the prize pool of the event, hidden inside an envelope.
The other will be rewarded to the winner of the All-in Shootout tournament taking place on October 22nd, you just need to be an online qualifier for UKIPT London and EPT London to take part in this event.
The winners will receive a package worth $30,000, this includes a $25,000 buy-in to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) and free airport transfer, six nights for the winner and a hotel, PSPC merchandise, $1,900 in expenses and a platinum pass experience all during the PSPC event.
