Poker Player Tazed After 'Yo Mama' Insult Causes Fight at Hustlers Casino
By RTR Alex
Drama unfolded at the Hustler Casino in Los Angeles last week, as poker players went hand-to-hand away from the felt.
Hustler Casino GM Shaun Yaple, has stated that three players started hurling insults at each other at a table inside the venue for unknown reasons. The exchange of words was short-lived as a fight broke out soon after.
Two guys got into a verbal disagreement as they split from the $2/$5 no-limit hold'em game. But things took a more violent turn when one individual shouted "Yo mama!" at another player.
After a few swings and misses, one player picked up a table and in true WWE fashion, cracked his opponent over the head with it. A nearby security officer then tazed the individual who fell to the floor as things began to calm down.
Although no charges were filed by those involved, all three players have been permanently banned from the LA casino. Co-owner of Hustler Casino Live, Nick Vertucci, has since praised the security officer who prevented what could have been a more horrific scene.
Vertucci said that there is "No violence tolerated" at Hustler's and that "security was spot on - don't talk about no one's mamma."
Names have not been shared by Yaple, but with their faces all over social media, we're certain they'll at least be famous in their hometown by now.
Hustler's has been already hit the headlines recently, after hosting a livestreamed game involving Phil Hellmuth, Tom Dwan, and MrBeast. The event turned out to be one of the craziest poker games ever streamed to the public and gained massive viewership, largely from MrBeasts Youtube fanbase of 95 million subscribers.
